Bible Baptist Church Publications is an integral and inseparable ministry of Bible Baptist Church, Oak Harbor, Washington in accordance with its stated purpose and mission “...to strive, by the help of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as stated in Matthew 28:18-20 and elsewhere...including...printing and publishing ministries.”
The ministry of Bible Baptist Church Publications began in 1989 in response to many requests from pastors and evangelists for sound Baptist discipleship and preacher-training materials. Today, this ministry supplies hundreds of Bible-believing Baptist churches, institutes, schools, and colleges to aid in their training of faithful men and women for the Lord’s work around the world.
This ministry is staffed mostly by volunteers who give of their time and effort because they believe in the cause of seeing new believers discipled and preachers trained to carry forth the Great Commission to the next generation.
It is our desire to be a blessing to you. We are not a money-making business, but we do try to “pay our own way” rather than burden the general finances of the Church.

Robert J. Sargent
Brother Robert Sargent has been preaching the Word of God since 1968, and entered the Baptist ministry in 1971. In 1988 he and his family moved to the United States to serve as a pastor at Bible Baptist Church, Oak Harbor, Washington. Prior to this, Brother Sargent pastored independent Baptist churches in Victoria and Western Australia, and served as president of a Bible college.
Dr. Gary S. Prisk
May 28, 1947 - May 29, 2006
Brother Gary Prisk graduated from Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College, San Dimas, California in 1974. Shortly thereafter he was ordained, then commissioned by the Bible Baptist Church of Sacramento to establish a church on Whidbey Island. A mission began at Coupeville, Washington in August of 1974, and was organized as the Bible Baptist Church in 1975. In 1991, Brother Prisk was honored with a doctorate in Divinity from the Great Plains Baptist College. He served as senior pastor of the Church until March 2006, and was promoted to Heaven’s glory on May 29, 2006.
